Senator David Pocock has stepped forward as the first sitting Federal Representative to call for much needed regulation of Generative AI, and AAVA supports his call for a ban on use of GenAI during election campaigns. Even though this is only a step towards the controls that AAVA and our partners in the creative sector are seeking, we feel it is an important one, and one worth supporting. When you can't trust what you see and hear true democracy is fragile. |
